A long time ago there was a magazine called Heavy Hitters, it showed and had articles of many self made individuals. I remember an article about this one man, who made it big! He started out with 2 Septic Pump trucks and 8 Port-a-Johns.
Years later with hard work and dedication, he then expanded to 15 Pump trucks, 350 Port-a-Johns, 4 Car Washes, two 18 Wheeler Truck Washes, 40 Unit Storage company and a 8 vehicle Limousine Service.

I'm a truck driver, I own my own semi truck. I haul trash from a transfer station to a landfill. I haul 1 load per day, approximately 38 ton per load. I'm home everyday, my day is around 10 to 12 hours per day. I'm given 93 gallons of fuel per load plus tonnage pay. I make more money hauling trash than I would hauling regular freight. Hauling trash pays very well.

I used to work as a heavy equipment operator at a landfill. I was there to learn about the business (and do something until I achieved in state tuition in my new residence). Can confirm that landfills and recycling centers PRINT money.
