Here in Switzerland, where the main type of the Helebarde comes from, it is usual for old houses in this country to still have one above the entrance on the inside of the house for self defense haha

Weird game with a fantasy storyline, but has some incredibly designed armour, weaponry and combat. The Arena mode is really interesting, especially purchasing and using everything from layered armour to full articulated plate.

Almost entirely physics based, so if you hook a halberd blade around someone’s head, for example, you can drag them to the floor to deliver a second strike.

The halberd is understandably, very powerful.

Little correction, the axe wasn’t used for crushing armor. That was the job of both/either the spearhead or back spike. The axe head was used for carving up lightly armored opponents.
