For the past several years I have studied the word of God from John MacArthur's study Bible comparing it with RC Sproul's study Bible and they are so close in their interpretations, except the pre-trib rapture position. I have yet to find where they have misinterpreted the scripture. Doctor John Barnett who has study scripture for over 38 years enrolled in various seminaries has stated that John MacArthur's study Bible is the best you could study from. With the knowledge I have attained by the grace of God it is almost impossible to listen to Leighten and others constantly attacking the so-called Calvinist.
You are absolutely brilliant in responding to the detractors of the true interpretation of the Bible.

soo... Provisionism minimizes God's control to preserve free will (9:20), but no mention that Calvinism minimizes man's responsibility to preserve their particular view of God's control? :)
so.... Provisionism is not historic, as the early church was synergistic, but no mention that Calvinism is also not historic, as the early church was synergistic, not monergistic :)

Most the early Church Fathers suggested Free Will. This is where they were incorrect when reading through the bible through the Reformed System. Their writings constantly clash with the system. Whether it is free will, choice, baptism, works etc...

Suggesting *human* responsibility and having the *choice* to follow God's word is blatantly incorrect and heretical in the Reformed Theology. It is only by the power of God's will that a person can be regenerated. One cant *choose* to have faith.

Through the Reformed system, God creates both those he loves and hates. He knits both groups in the womb but There is no human work that a person can do to save themselves if they were created to be one that God Hates. The hated or unelect were created specifically to be condemned and to suffer eternally.

Great vid. Thankyou. Provisionism unfortunately will appeal to the synergists amongst us. It has been said that any modern heresy comes from ancient heresies.
The battle for the bible started when it was first translated for the masses. "Grace" has always been an anathema for those who fiercely believe that they "must" have something that they can contribute to their salvation.
The struggle goes on.
God is not obligated to save anyone.

I'm not saying provionism is correct, but it seems that the exact same critiques given in this video could have been applied the exact same way to reformed theology for the first 400+ years of the church. Not only that, but it ASSUMES Calvinistic thought and as a result, disregards provisionism, and in turn, every other theology that isn't Calvinism. I agree with some of the critiques here but it also sounds like someone arguing from an echo chamber.

Lying Flowers hates Calvin and Calvinists so much it hurts. He actually claimed that Calvin executed his own daughter in law and a 13 year old child. The man has no shame.
