Why Does Everyone Hate Jayson Tatum?

Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics are on a roll. After crushing the Warriors on Sunday for their 11th straight win, the Celtics have further extended their lead at the top of the NBA standings. Because of the Celtic's recent play, Tatum has slowly bolstered his case to win his first league MVP. However there remains a sizeable portion of the NBA fanbase against Tatum, and today we ask why?

Because people don’t know what a good player is anymore. It’s always about counting stats. There aren’t many players who if you watch everyday your appreciation goes way up. Tatum is one. To me you watch him every day and how he carries himself he’s an absolute throwback.

He had to sweep KD beat Giannis and Jimmy all in 1 playoff run just to get called a superstar and be mentioned in the top 10, whereas a guy like SGA averages 30 in a regular season and without winning anything significant gets thrown into top 5 convos
