A big part of the reason he gets the hate on this level is because some nba fans our easily in my opinion the most toxic group of fans. Whenever I’m online it seems this is case.

first off the media was hating on tatum the ENTIRE nba finals lmao and now that he wasn’t played much in the olympics they’re like “IT’S EGREGIOUS THAT JAYSON TATUM ISNT PLAYING” make up your damn mind

He doesn’t get hate he just isn’t beloved as his accomplishments would suggest he should be.

There is so much hate on Jason Tatum from the media pundits like SAS, Andrea Carter and mush mouth from the Cosby kids aka Kendrick Perkins who hated on Jason Tatum and the Celtics throughout the 23/24 NBA season and even after the Celtics won the Championship. You did it, the media did it!

People are just scared of what he'll become. He's already a top 5 player and he still has several areas that he can take another step in. He's only 26 years old. He'll retire with 3+ rings and 2+ Finals MVPs

I don’t think anyone hates JT. I think his fans believe he doesn’t get the love they feel he deserves.

Basketball fans for some reason are super toxic and as much as I love basketball I prefer to never engage with the ignorant masses. Id rather just enjoy basketball by myself these days

The short answer is that Boston fans put him in conversations he has no business being in. They set him up for the slander.

He just doesn't have that dog in him like that, and Steve didn't trust the process.

Hate is the wrong word. He just isn't appreciated or viewed as the guy. When his teammate wins the finals mvp, people use those to discredit him. Look at Steph. When he lost finals mvp to igoudala and kd.. people still wasn't giving him the credit he deserved even being the greatest shooter of all time. That's why that last title steph was so emotional because now people can't say shit.

Tatum didn’t even win mvp on his own team. TWICE!. That should let you fans know he’s not as good as you think he is.

As a warriors fan, we know Steve Kerr leans on the old heads, even when they struggle. The Olympic gold medal game is too big of a moment other than not put the trust into Steph, KD, and Lebron. When JT has a few bigger moments he’ll get the ball.

The answer is easy, some people hate greatness ( ie.) Kobe, LeBron, Steph, K. D the list goes on, even Michael Jordan had a bunch of haters but you wouldn't be able to tell now that time has passed and he's supposedly everybody's GOAT now smdh 🤦🏾‍♂️
