Dumbledore, without any additional power, beat Grindelwald, who had the Elder Wand, and was the true master if it, even though the fight was very close. Meanwhile, while the fight wasn't as close, Voldemort held his own against Dumbledore when Dumbledore had the Elder Wand, making Voldemort one tough Wizard.

I believe if Voldemort and Grindelwald dueled, both with their original wands, Voldemort would leave Grindelwald in a bloody paste.
