Your patient just changed from normal sinus rhythm to sinus tachycardia on your cardiac monitor. You want to start thinking of all the possible causes of sinus tachycardia and continue to monitor your patient. What has changed?

Pain also activates the adrenal glands, adrenaline will cause higher blood pressure. It is exhausting. It can also cause difficulty in breathing. G.A.S.

I have one question that no one can seem to answer for me not even Google. Sometimes my heart rate goes up for example, a night after drinking even small amounts of alcohol the next morning I wake up my heart rate can go up as high as 145 bpm. My question is does it keep rising or does it eventually subside how do you know and at what point that it’s not going to Spike up even higher and put you in cardiac arrest?

If the transition is as sharp as shown in the video, it's probably not sinus tachycardia.
