How to make garlic and thyme compound butter?

Ingredients

125 g butter

1 cloves garlic

1/2 bunch thyme

salt

Method

1. Leave the butter out of the fridge to get to room temperature.
Add the butter to a bowl and mix till smooth.

2. Chop the thyme and press the garlic cloves. Add this to the soft butter with a pinch of coarse Maldon salt.

3. Whip the butter up till it's nice and smooth. You can use a spoon or whisk.
