Does the inside takeaway lead to the lifting of the arms in the backswing, which then causes the club not to travel down the trial arm in the downswing? Creating an out to in swing path?

When i move my hand straight back i always feel as if the club gets stuck on the ground to start. Then I get the stupid lift out pattern.
