Connecticut mom rescues 5-year-old daughter from raccoon attack

Logan MacNamara said she heard her daughter screaming while waiting for the school bus, but never imagined the cause was a raccoon.

Mama bear did awesome! For those of you who are team raccoon, have you ever been eye to eye with a rabid raccoon before? They are pretty scary! One small bite is all it takes to catch rabies from them and it takes intensive treatment to get you better. Lots of injections. Both mama and daughter must get checked now. I hope they are both ok. Mom did great here. Adrenaline kicked in to save her child.
