Massachusetts mom accused of killing 2 children has ties to Connecticut

A 32-year-old Massachusetts woman accused of killing two of her children and injuring her infant son went to high school and college in Connecticut.

Lindsay Clancy – formerly Lindsay Musgrove – is from Wallingford and graduated from Lyman Hall High School in 2008, the school district’s superintendent confirmed to FOX61 News.

Quinnipiac University also confirmed to FOX61 that Clancy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2012.

She was definitely battling postpartum psychosis. I battled that and I notified the doctors, my boyfriend and my mom because I know how serious it can get from watching these cases. GET HELP BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! 😢

I wish she got help. I had postpartum psychosis and it took everything in me to call 911. I was embarrassed I was literally in the army at the time but knew my feelings were dangerous and I needed help. I got help and my kids are now 5 and 2 and amazing and I love them so much. I wish she got help instead of doing this

I can’t believe some of these comments. If this was a man that killed his kids people would be livid but since it’s a woman people want to say “oh well maybe she was mentally ill, maybe she was stressed, etc” ARE YOU SERIOUS?? This woman murdered her babies she deserves ZERO sympathy!!!

I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old there are days I only get 3 hours of sleep and I work full time, there are times where I feel overwhelmed and exhausted and ask my husband for help please if you feel something is not right ask for help from someone, anyone, we do not all live or can have perfect lives depression and mental health or PPD are real feelings and can cause harm if it goes unchecked whether suicide or you can hurt someone else.

As a fellow mom of 4, one a new baby, and as a nurse…my gut says this was a good woman struggling with severe mental health issues. As terrible and awful as this is, my heart goes out to her, she may not know what she has done. She had 2 pandemic babies and worked as a nurse…I can almost bet she was struggling. Sleep deprived from work and babies, trauma and isolation from the pandemic, winter. She was in a dark place and didn’t get help in time. God Bless her little baby fighting for his life. May god wrap his loving arms of healing and protection around him tonight. Please lord be both mama and papa to that sweet innocent baby tonight.

Thoughts and prayers for the husband, can't imagine the trauma is he is dealing with. Losing
2 of his 3 children, and coping with his wife as the one who is accused.

Sorry but I raised 3 kids as a single
Mom with no child support so a married lady living in a big nice house with a career as an RN doing something so heinous is sickening and quite frankly it was probably more that she is selfish & mean than anything. Call the dad tell him to get home you’re leaving and get in the car and drive off! I have no pity for her whatsoever. Some moms are terrible and don’t deserve to have kids. I hope they lock her up & throw the key away. Those poor babies!

Here come the hypocrite women who want to make excuses for a woman who would kill her own children. Postpartum this or that is no excuse to kill your own kids period. There are many different mental health issues that people can have but that doesn’t absolve them of accountability if that kill someone let alone their own children. Hopefully the judge throws the book at her.
