3-Year-Old Kidnapped in Broad Daylight From Grandma

Several bystanders near a Bronx gas station are being hailed as heroes after they helped thwart an attempted kidnapping of a 3-year-old girl. Surveillance video shows the stranger coming toward the grandmother, who was walking home with the little girl and her young twin brothers from a nearby park. Suddenly, the man violently snatched the girl and ran in the other direction. The grandmother gave chase, and so did good Samaritans who heard her screams.

Seeing her slowly run after the kidnapper is so heartbreaking. She probably hasn't ran in years. God bless that grandma for chasing after the kidnapper, even if her body wasn't meant for running, and I hope the kid is now living happy.

The grandma was doing everything right. Walking beside the girls, holding their hands with no distractions. There was nothing different she could have done. I can't imagine how she felt.
