It still doesn't explain why people don't feel their back without doing eccentric. The way i see it is if you are weak in ur back, u get tired and aren't able to work your muscles enough for it to feel sore. By doing eccentrics, you will be able to essentially overload your muscles every rep, thus you will feel it more.

No way! You have a voice!!

Good explanation, the eccentric part (or negative) is very important to feel way better the muscle involved. If you put a pause when you are full contracted and then slowly release maintening the control of the movement, it’s a good variation to change a bit the routine.

Eccentric : the muscle is contracting while it is LENGTHENING
Concentric : the muscle is contracting while it is SHORTENING

The count is 3-2-1. Three seconds on the negative (eccentric), 1 second for the squeeze. Then 2 seconds concentric. Focus more on the negative. 90% of people work out too and are serial cheaters. 🤦🏻‍♂️😂
