One of the best bow reviews I've ever watched. Very clear and concise description

Wish we would have seen speeds on a 60# as well I have been curious about differences in 70# and 60# in the Mathews setups

I wonder What is the warranty on the rubber between the limbs, say if you are hunting and a limb pokes thru it or what ever

Mathews Improvements are in viberbration, dampening, and balance... Equals speed and KE. Mathews bows are the most efficient bows on the market. Nothing compares to a Mathews cam system. Rotating mods just can't compete. Mathews slimline balance design, with the bridge locks, rest, roller guard, new limbs, and tight quiver. Just creates dead in the hand accurate shots and killer KE game pounding arrows. CATCH US IF YOU CAN

The obsession with VIBRATION is just silly. So what if there is a little vibration when you fire. It's so small in these modern bows already, and again, the arrow is looonnnggg gone before your brain even knows you fired.

I love my v3x, but tuning it myself has been a pain in the ass. The top hat system is outdated, especially when bowtexh and others have way better cam tuning options. My local "pro" shops "tuning" is a joke, I have to do it myself, which is fine, but I would have loved to see a replacement for cam tuning like several other manufacturers.

Case in point my top Cam is leaning after replacing my strings. My local pro shop said this wasn't a problem and ushered me out the door. I have a wicked left tear, which wasn't discovered by their paper tuning since they only paper tune with 2 or 3 arrows at 2' to 3' and call it good. Instead of being able to pull out an Allen wrench and adjust the Cam myself, I have not shot the bow for over a week while I try to find time to drive to the only Matthews pro shop around, argue with them about the necessity to change the top Cam hat, and deal with the attitude of you don't know what you're talking about but we'll do it anyway oh and that was a $100.

I'd say close in the neighborhood of 2500.00 out the door with decent accessories

As always, great review! Unfortunately, as always, Matthews continues to disappoint. This is still a Triax with just more gimmicks. Matthews currently has challenges with keeping a stiff limbs on top and a weak limbs on bottom, but now they have eight total limbs with two bound together with a piece of rubber. I can only imagine the problems this will create down the line. Vo-tech has the motto refused to follow, Matthews should have the motto refuse to listen, or refuse to actually innovate.

Not hating at all, I shoot and enjoy my V3X but prefer my Bowtech. Shot the Phase 4 at my club decked out with the $700 stabilizers. Could feel no difference in vibration or noise.

Also with the front bar, you can’t adjust it the angle. Lot of money for those and couldn’t justify the purchase after shooting it.
