Good evening , french fruga is back again to explain his new budget, this is how i do it : i decided to leave my old car this monday because of inflation and european union will ban petrol and diesel cars for 10 years, so no fuel to pay ( more than 25€ per month ), no insurance ( 25€ too ), no expensive repairs ( more than 500€ ), no technic control ( 72€ ) to be paid every 2 years

This would be my new budget for january 2023 after the reimbursement of my apartment : i earn 1600 € per month

Mutual health : 38, 25€
Home insurance : 18, 91€
Box tv : 39, 99€
Web Phone : 15, 99€
Bank contribution : 9€
Condominium fees : 54, 57€
Food : 100€
Électricity : 30€

take a detailed inventory of everything in your home BEFORE SHOPPING.
by detailed, I do not mean, oh, I have x number cans of soup.
what kind?,
x chicken noodle
x tomato, etc.
write how many per type.
same with canned or frozen veggies
canned or frozen fruit
cuts of meat
types of cheese
unsalted butter
salted butter, etc.

buy quality, even if it costs more up front.
learn to diy as much as possible
maintain your stuff correctly.
