Hi. I agree first I use to shop frequently n stuff my fridge with so much food most of it used to get wasted. But now I shop once in fifteen days first I write down a grocery list n what I am planning about cooking in the week. I also do approximate calculating about how much am I going to spend . Honestly I save a lot this way. Thanku.

Be a mindful, frugal prepper, it is the very best way to mitigate inflation and shortages bar none. When one has a big selection of foods, shoppig becomes optional, because one can shop at home, no unnecessary trips to the store or impluse buying. Grow your own food in the garden, there is no need to meal plan so long as you make sure never to waste anything. Meal planning is over-rated, do the reverse, buy food you know you will use at lowest possible prices, then decide what to make with what you have purchased. Keep a corner of the fridge for items that need to be used up, so they do not get forgotten and go bad. I allow myself $20.00 incase I want to go shopping, that covers food and hygeine items. I nolonger need to buy cleaning products or toiletries. Knowing I am ready for sickness, injury or emergencies such as natural or man-made disasters, or income loss is very satisfying. I have prepped enough for self, pets and adult child and family, enough to last a very long time. Same goes for dry goods necessary for every aspect of life.
