I live alone. One of the best things I have bought this year was a second hand slow cooker for £5. Saves a fortune on energy costs and I can batch cook 4 meals at a time freezing 3 for another day.

Instead of going to the gym, clean your house or apartment. It’s really hard work.

Never go cheap on shoes and mattresses. I will buy store brand on many items but there's some items that I can't, as one commenter below says, chemicals & ingredients have a negative effect as well the quality of taste isn't the same. Cleaning products can mostly be bought at the Dollar tree along with few other misc. items.

For sure brew your own coffee, if you own your home cut your own grass, do your own laundry don't drop it off at the laundromat and pay by the pound to have them do it. Look to cut that ridiculously expensive cable cord and land line there are plenty of options ( I only pay for router $80 a month yet I have free TV including movie channels and a voIP box for land line calls). Try to do as many repairs/projects your self instead of paying someone t do it, you tube is a great tool to learn how to do things ( I changed my home thermostat, fixed both my central air and my furnace by watching yt tutorials. Learn how to do simple care repairs/maintenance same thing yt channels (dealer wanted $300 dollars to change 4 spark plugs and 4 coil boots, I did it myself for $63 dollars worth of parts).

Once a week to my Costco grocery milk, eggs, bread, fruit run, I get a soda at Costco then run next door my In N Out burger. Total, about 4.45 for my eating out treat.

Hi! New sub! These are great tips - The charger for my shaver broke and I spent a few dollars on a new one rather than much more on a brand new shaver. And the difference between frugal and cheap is really important too!

1. Dont be cheap ! 🤗
2. Budget your life expenses.
3. Dont buy stuff you dont need.
4. Dont buy whats on sale that you wont need.
5. 🤗

Public transport can be more expensive than a car, the convenients can give you also more freedom. 🤗
Just drive a relyable basic car that can bring you from a to b is enough.
And dont buy a car to posh your neighbours or friends. 😅

Agree with everything except growing your own food. Unless you really know what you're doing, growing your own food is a hobby and exercise, not a money saver. I'm heavy into gardening, tools, seeds, fertilizer, etc., costs a lot.

I used to have a haircut every month, like most guys. Now I have a haircut every 5 weeks. Annually I save 1.5 haircut prices without doing anything. Enough to buy a new pair of shoes.

Public transit costs far higher than my car. Hybrid.

Who would go out to buy a new sweater just because of a lost button 😏? That’s pretty dumb.

Stop taking advantage of Dave Ramsey‘s image and brand. Shame on you!! It’s also misuse. Again, shame.
