The first time you get shot, you should click around on your person to find your worst injury.

Next you should apply a tourniquet, which will temporary slow down your bleeding.

Now apply a bandage to stop the bleeding.

Finally, you can now remove the tourniquet, because the bleeding has stopped.

You can also, now use Morphine to help with accuracy and movement speed while it heals.

or if you have had significant blood loss and your screen starts to turn grey, you can use a saline bag.

Doctors don't want you to know but you can pre-tourniquet your limbs to prevent bleeding in the first place. If it feels like your limbs are being attacked by bees covered in McDonald's sprite just ignore that and keep fighting

If you've used ACE medical for Arma 3 then you can do Arma refordger medical.

Use a saline whenever you can bc if you get downed again you won’t bleed out bc you’re gaining fluids as your losing fluids.

I’ve over 550 hours in the game and honestly never use a tourniquet. As long as you can get to cover and bandage quickly, you’ll be fine. You don’t even need to locate where you’re bleeding, just take a bandage to hand from the hot wheel and use it. Going through the whole tourniquet on, bandage on, tourniquet off, saline bag on, morphine routine is too time consuming. If it takes a few seconds before you can bandage, just add a saline pack after bandaging to balance out your blood loss. Administering morphine at the end of treatment also speeds up your recovery.

If your screen is gray, you're probably screwed because you're about to pass out before you can get the IV in (unless very slow blood loss), leaving it up to someone else to do it for you.

Start saline at 50% blood loss.

I recommend carrying 4 tourniquets, 7 Morphines, 7 Saline, and 10 banages. So that youre always ready for whatever happens.

TQs are only useful for extremely heavy bleeding because they’re faster than applying a bandage. But just applying a bandage stop the bleeding like a TQ does.

Personally, I think that heavy bleeding should require a tourniquet and only applying a bandage won’t stop the bleeding. Then once the bleeding is down to moderate or minor after a TQ is applied, then you can bandage it to fully stop it. I think, by doing this, it would make the medical system more realistic and more interesting at the same time.

Turni is for medical patients with multiples heavy bleeds or if you are bleeding and need to stay in the fight. I’ve lived countless times because I’ve saved seconds using a turni and getting back into the right rather than the 30 sec bandage animation
