Hi! I understand how to use some soaked grains or beans such as lentils, quinoa or beans. But I like to consume nuts toasted and sometimes as milk or butter, so my first question would be: Should I still soak them before toasting them or convert them into milk or butter?

And with seeds like chia or flaxseeds, if I want to have them as pudding or mixed in a smoothie, should I drain and washout the gel and water remaining before putting them into the preparation? Thanks!!!

I am confused! I have watch a few of your past videos about soaking seeds, nuts and grains. In your recipe for the great probiotic drink. You have mustard seeds in the recipe. Do you need to soak the seeds before they are CRACKED OR GROUND the mustard seeds? How long do you soak the seeds? Minimum soak for 8 hours? Or not? Or less time? Also seen in other people recipes that have chia seeds where they say to soak chia seeds and then they become gelatinous. Do you need to stain off this water or should you consume this water? If must get rid of water, how do you get rid of the water in this case of gelatinous chia seeds? Do you need to soak chia seeds for 8 hours? Or less to get rid of the phytates? In your video about Fenugreek seeds are manic seed for diabetes you talk about 1 hour first soak fenugreek seeds and you toss the water to get rideof the phytates or phytic acid or should it be soaked long like 8 hours? Also should you soak GROUNED fenugreek seeds with the first soak water how do you separate powder from the first water since you want to eat the grounded seeds or should you first soak the seeds whole? Then dehydrate the seeds to be able grind them up? Or just eat the wet and soft seeds whole or ground? Also seen comments you should be doing a second soaking of the fenugreek seeds where you drink the second seed soak water ( in that same video about diabetes and fenugreek seeds). How many hours should the second soaking be? What about also sprouting the fenugreek seeds do you need to a first soak and how long should that first soak be before sprouting? Once sported is it best eat the sprout fresh? Or dehydrate the sprouts and ground then? Do you toss the sprouted water or drink the second or third washing of sprouted water? Overall, which seeds, nuts, and grains do not need to be soaked because of Phytates or phytic acid is not a problem? Which seeds, nuts, or grains do needed to be soaked because of Phytates or phytic acid? What is minimum soak time? Also how long does one soak if you want to keep the second wash water to drink? Does this apply when ferment the seeds, nuts, or grains do you need to soak them first and toss the water then ferment in the second soak? Do you need 8 hour soak to sprout the seeds, nuts, or grains in the second and third washing when soaking? Do you see what I mean this is all confusing? Do you have or could you please make up chart or know of one for each seed, nut and grain. Which one need to be soaked or could they just be milled? What is their are minimum and maximum time to soak, which one could you drink the second soaking water and how long do you soak then for health benefits? Also will fermenting and/or sprouting: which of these techniques will they best get rid of the phytates or phytic acid in seeds, nuts or grains? I heard if you grind that seeds❤ are is increase bioavailability of nutrients but does it lower the phytates? Will grinding nuts and grain does it also affect as well phytates not to be issue and nutrients become more bioavailable ? I appreciate your knowledge and that you share it with all of us. As you can see I have a lot of same questions on what is best method to get rid of the phytates or phytic acid but not sure what methods to use and how to do it for each type of seed, nut, or grains. A chart would make it easy to know what to do when we want to consume seeds, nuts or grains in any recipe to get most nutritional bioavailability by then soaking tossing the water or doing a second soak and drink the water and consuming the soak food or dehydrating it and powder it, vs. fermented the food( and do you still need to first soak) make into fermented drink or fermented food to eat. Vs. Should you still soak before you sprout the food and toss the water? And should eat the food fresh as sprouts vs. dehydrating the sprouts make into a tea vs. grind into powder mix into recipe as flour or make into capsules? Bottom line it necessary to soak seeds, nuts and grains first if your going to either ferment, or sprout or will these techniques will this get rid of the phytates and phytic acid with out a pre-soak and toss the water?
