Keep in mind, you have to ALWAYS update your BIOS before putting the new CPU! At least as far as I'm aware, if you upgrade from any Intel i3 to i5, i7, or i9 you have to!

4:33 is my biggest issue, on ANY build, i helped my buddy change from air to water cooled and in our efforts we ripped that cpu right out of its bitch socket because the thermal compound cemented it to the heat sink, , after a shit tonne of trouble shooting and manual manipulation we figured it out, luckily we didnt do any permanent damage

the one thing ive become terrified of is the removal of the heat sink from the cpu safely, as seen in this video there is "resistance", in my case there was "cementing" so i ask

is there a time limit where you should replace the thermal paste so this wont happen?
