I just picked up a 2006 DTS with the 9 as the 8th digit. Chrome grille with the 18 inch chrome wheels, Crimson Pearl. Love it.

Also for those who don't know fun fact the VIN 9 V8 is the L37 and the Y is the LD8 then there also is the elusive l47 from the Aurora Oldsmobile 4.0L

So i have a 08 DTS with Luxury 1 and 8th digit on vinyl being the Y with smaller rims but i do have a center console shifter so is it still performance or not? 🤔

Also the performance has center console shifter where as the non performance tq motor was shifter on steering Column

I haves a 2008 dts platinum 4.6 liters and i haves a y but shes quiet fast if its not a performance

I wouldn't mind having one of these in performance trim. But my preference for RWD won't let me. That's why I ended up with a 2010 Cadillac CTS Premium 3.6 V6😉.
