It's disturbing how the US has drug commercials

Your videos are unique and really well-researched! I can't wait to see what you have planned next!

i see Hollywood and influencer culture as such a separate entity now. whatever new standards like this crop up, i feel like some sort of anthropologist observing behaviors from a whole different bubble of humanity that has nothing to do with me or anyone normal

This video was really good and thoughtful. I'm starting semaglutide soon and it's been hard to find information about it thats not basically just an advertisement or a pure horror story. I appreciated your take on it.

Self acceptance how you are, self love, kindness to others etc, And in the mean time people who are diabetic can't get it because it is always unavailable due to people who don't need it getting preference access - but it is really not a great drug - all the side effects are horrible.

uh there's always been off label uses for meds designed to treat one thing Type 2 Diabetes in this case that also have off label uses treating PCOS etc. I've probably had mild/moderate PCOS since my mid teens but wasn't diagnosed until my late 20s and put on an IUD Mirena as I'm medically unable to use the birth control pill due to mom being allergic to both pill and patch and also me having a blood Clotting disorder

I heard “only cosmetic purposes” several times and it was definitely triggering. I’ve been obese my whole life. I remember being in 4th grade and dieting. I was active and healthy otherwise, but that’s not enough for society. I grew up continuing this dieting cycle until I had gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago and lost over 100 lbs. I’ve maintained my weight until I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year after losing my ability to walk. All of the meds and IV steroids on top of limited mobility has made it almost impossible to stay “in shape”. We also found out we were pregnant 3 months after the MS diagnosis, so I’ve definitely gained weight. I started semaglutide in April along with supplements and clinical support with weekly visits. I’ve lost 36 pounds which I am so proud of, but keeping the excess weight off is now imperative to my health.
