I also have hashimotos and it’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I’m going to try gluten and dairy free diet.

Hi, in 2016 i was diagnosed with hashimoto, but i think i've had it before. I play the guitar and sing since I was a child, but I always lived with pain in my hands, and my tone of voice was not more serious. During the pandemic, I changed my levothyroxine laboratory and became a vegetarian. I began to eat better and I was able to change my relationship with the instrument and singing. my voice cleared and my neck stopped tensing. my tsh values dropped and I changed my way of thinking. listening to your testimony, I think I also have to give up gluten. thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. I had stage 1 cancer when I found out I had hashimotos. And now I’m still dealing with the autoimmune part. Seems like it comes and goes. Ugh, still praying for strength and doing my research. Hoping to get back to normal asap.

I was diagnosed with thyroiditis . Pain in throat with irregular blood work. My dock was going to put me on meds. But i decided to try CBD with Turmeric combined and it helped with pain and swelling. My blood work came back normal. I thought I found the cure. The next 5 blood test came back normal.. 4 years later the pain came back after stressful work days. I'm trying CBD and Turmeric combined again. Third day taking it feeling a little better. Refuse to go to doc because they prescribe meds immediately.

Good vid. Good to cut gluten etc. because that medicine doesn't stop the antibodies from attacking your thyroid.

I was diagnosed with hashimotos about a year ago. I used to weigh 230 lbs and slept 20 hours a day but for some reason my Thyroid Antibodies level is 905 now, but now my weight keeps going down and no matter how much I eat I can’t gain weight and I can’t handle heat well and the colder it is the better I feel. I used to live in 10 degree winters and I would need to take off my jacket. I also have chronic nausea gagging and there is no answers. I used to be on synthroid in college this made me very.hyper.

I went from 75, to 100 now 112. I told my doctor I need to increase dosage she said 99 percent not taking medicine right. That's same thing they mentioned last time I'm avoiding anything 1 hour after medicine and 4 hours for vitamins. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for more blood work then they decide medicine. This condition sucks. It's depressing. Thank you for cheering us all up.

I’m a levothyroxine fan. I’m someone who is not a big Pharma sycophant by any means but after dealing with hashimoto’s I was in denial for 3 month after my diagnosis thinking I could just eat clean, red light therapy, Brazil nuts whatever to fix it….it didn’t. Started on 50, went from TSH of 10 down to 3.7. now on 100 & finally having normal amazing bowel movements twice a day (sorry for graphic details) & I eat worse then before. Previously I thought I had colon cancer/crohns it was so bad & I would get depressed about it because I was always uncomfortable. So to anyone starting medication, don’t be scared. & get your TSH under 2. A lot of ppl claim you can live with it above but you will have symptoms & make your life more difficult than it needs to be. The medication is gonna help you be normal.

Sounds identical to me. I really struggle to gain weight though which is counter intuitive.

I got told the same thing. Once I cut gluten out i felt better. But something’s are still off. I ended up gaining 60 lbs so fast it’s been a crazy ride. I ditched my medication and focused on my diet and felt a lot better. Incorporated yoga & running and my supplements & it’s been great.

In 2017 is when I found out I have thyroid issues too, it was my extreme time as well, very fatigued, didn't wanna move or wake up, swelling in my body, Clammy feeling, sweating, headaches, palpitations, extreme cold or hot constipation, etc. I didn't start taking medicine til 2019 when I was in a high stress job, that caused me to start feeling horrible again. I was diagnosed with hashimotos and hypothyroidism. I take levothyroxine 50 mcg, but now I also have the joint aches and pains and I'm grouchy 😆. I'm looking into the diet now. I did keto in 2018 and it made the inflammation go away, but 2021 my husband decided to just do low carb, so we started eating rice and grains and stuff again, it brought my aches and pains back, so I'm going to see if cutting all that again helps, if so, it's the issue, I'm trying to get off the meds. I heard selenium, iodine, vitamin d and k and b are important, so brazil nuts, sea kelp, sea weed, fish oil, etc.. we will see

God bless you Matt for making this video. I’m watching this in 2024 after getting my bloods done to check how my body was reacting to a clinical ketogenic diet for a mental illness I live with. After watching this video I suspect I’m feeling much better on keto due to having no grains in my diet and I think even the mental illness could be caused by this too. Turns out I have hypothyroidism and I was feeling very anxious about it until I watched your video. From listening to your story, it turns out that everything can be ok! Thanks 💪
