I just saw an endocronologist. she told me that my level of antibodies made NO difference for my hashimotos symptoms. She didn't even want to get them tested. She was absolutely USELESS!!

People in the comments are asking about gluten. I'll answer that.

Gluten is to be strictly avoided. Find out sources of gluten and avoid those foods.

Everything else she mentioned, needs to be taken. Only gluten is to be avoided.

Dairy was definitely raising my TPO antibodies and vitamin D3 at 20, 000 IUs helps to lower my antibodies.

Gluten was mentioned at the beginning but not again in the things to take. So maybe we need to avoid it.

As a patient with hashimoto's, my doctor recommended me not to eat seafood more than once a week. Why is that?

IODINE seems to be very conflicting bc I’m hearing too much iodine can make hashimotos WORSE not better.

All sounds good except the iodine. How do you take iodine when you're on Thyroid medicine that says don't take iodine? The two will conflict in the body.

Seafood. Watch out for mercury and farm raise. That will worsen your hashimoto for sure. What about the leptin resistance. Can you elaborate on it please?

It’s interesting that my endocrinologist stated that selenium supplementation in America is not necessary and can actually lead to toxicity. 🤔

I heard iodine can be a problem for those with hashimotos, but I just ate shrimp and felt very good.

Mine is opposite. I have high anxiety and energy so if I do too much iodine, I start to feel really freaked out in my heart starts beating fast.
