There are many misconceptions about what it takes to beat stubborn pain… SO MANY.

Some of these ideas that are floating around are based on outdated information and methods…

While others are simply myths that never really held a lot of value in the first place…

For example, pushing yourself through exercises and stretches only to pay for it later in pain only reinforces the strength of your pain pathways. 

And sending yourself safety messages and trying to regulate your nervous system just doesn’t get to the deeper issue affecting your overactive pain pathways. 

It can be frustrating when you have put your faith in some of these ideas only to have them not work out or, worse...set you back further!
