I'm guessing Breaking Bad would look a lot different if they dealt speed instead of meth.

Season 2 Episode 4 - Down: Walt and Jesse appear to be in the clear, but now face trouble on their respective home fronts. Walt finds it's difficult to reconnect with Skyler and the rest of his family, while Jesse's parents kick him out of their house.

Follow Us on Social:

Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

The most frustrating part is how even when Hank explicitly told her his visit had nothing do with Jesse, she still managed to make it be against Jesse

Little did they know that they would be back in the same room and be threatened by what they found if they didn't take the price deal. It's all good, man.

I love this when he turns around and screws them out of $400, 000 on the price of the house and buys it.

If they hadn't kicked Jesse out, Jesse wouldn't have met Jane, and as a result, she wouldn't have relapsed into drugs, and she wouldn't have died, and her father wouldn't have gone catatonic, and those planes wouldn't have crashed into each other. I wonder how many more lives were scratched out the moment Jesse's parents evicted him

It was sweet watching Saul tear them and their lawyer to shreds. In the end, Jesse held them to their deal whether they liked it or not.

Love how Jesse’s parents call BS on his lie about helping Hank and the DEA when they shook their heads.

One of my favourite scenes from this show is when Saul blackmails the parents and their lawyers to get back the house

Chuck and Jesse’s parents are frustrating characters to watch. I want to fully hate them but I just can’t.

After all, Jesse just couldn’t help himself either. Look at how he made Jane relapse to addiction again which snowballed into the planes crash.

This is the moment where the house had been sauled

_”Vacate the house in 72 hours, or your parents have authorized me to contact the authorities.”_

Ooh, another case of this lawyer being a bit slimy. "Do what I say or I call the police" is called *extortion.* If Jesse went to the state bar and told them about this, this lawyer could be fighting disbarment.

All the people here defending jesse clearly have never lived with an addict and it shows.

Definitely wasn't an easy decision, The Parents could only do so much to not enable his behavior
