The best part is that Jesse's parents are never seen again for the entirety of the series. He was so savage he owned them out of the show.

Did anyone notice in the full episode how on the back of their car the parents had the little family stick figures but only with one son? Now that, is cold. Made this scene even sweeter.

Context of Jesse's parents being already awful aside, getting your own place without telling your parents who thought of you as sloppy or dependent is the most satisfying feeling ever

I love this scene because jesse really hit rock bottom when he got kicked out that house in the earlier season, family denies him, no money but 65.000 inpoundend by the dea, no friends who whill give him shelter, his van impounded, and he gets blue like a smurf breaking in to it falling asleep with in tears and a gasmask on.

"Poor Jake. He had his heart set on going to space camp."

You guys had $400, 000 on hand to pay for home renovations, then broke even and got that $400, 000 in cash back after the sale of the home. And you can't afford to send your kid to space camp, which costs less than a grand?

I was literally cheering for Jesse in this moment. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Maybe it is just me but Jesse was the only person on this show who deserved to live. He was always being used by Walt and was never really a bad person at heart. He did bad things but really only because of Walt.

Poor Jake? No space camp? You have 400k cash and you can't send your prodigy kid to a space camp? WTF

Just imagine how different Jessie's life would have been if he had parents that truly loved and supported him. You never, ever, ever, give up on YOUR child. You never know the impact that has on someone.

For anyone feeling bad about the parents losing out on the deal or Jessie's little brother not getting to go to Space Camp (he let his big brother take the fall for him smoking pot and got him disowned so screw that little shit for not owning up to it). Bear in mind that they still have their own house, the money they got was exactly what they put in to fix up Jessie's house to sell it and any money they would have made off it would have been pure profit and an undeserved luxury to them after abandoning and giving up on their eldest son. Jessie made sure to offer them enough so they would not have lost any money of their own so he might as well have paid for the renovations himself. he could have offered them less or even let Saul sue and get the house free and clear, but he made sure they weren't indebted afterwards because they're still his parents despite what they did to him.

there is a difference between not wanting drug dealer in their house, and taking the house of their son that he got after taking care of his sick aunt.

They dont want jesse in their life because of his criminal activities and that is fine, but taking what belongs to him is selfish and unforgivable.

He got a very good deal. His parents put like 400k into renovation and he just bought the price of renovations. Savage.

Poor Jakey had his heart set on getting more weed and with parents like this I can't blame him much

The single most heartbreaking bit in all of BB is when Jesse's visiting his little brother, the chosen one, and before leaving the two of them alone in the same room, the parents leave the door ajar because they don't trust him.

This is really late but there’s something else interesting to think about here. Jesse’s parents said that they spent 400k on renovations earlier in the episode. Saul got Jesse the house for 400k. Since this was the house that Jesse’s aunt left for him and his parents kicked him out even though he earned it by taking care of his aunt. When he bought back the house for 400k, he didn’t end up paying for the house’s price at full price, just for the renovations his parents made. He really didn’t lose a penny, which is what Jesse earned.

This video summarized how I reacted when I originally saw that scene. Karma is a huge bitch ain't it Mr. and Mrs. Pinkman?
