The following TEDx talk is essentially about a bias people have when looking at success.

People would seek guidance from those who are extremely successful and try to follow their words and methods like a hand book. But the bias here is the survivorship bias, which is the logical error of concentrating on the people or things that have made it past a certain selection process to their way to success, while overlooking those that did not, usually because they're the least visible and when the failures are not very visible, you can have a twisted perception on success. Mohamed's talk is about seeing those failures, and trying to seek them.

Well presented and really cool topic. However, I don't think sport was the best example of an industry with a huge element of luck. Sport tends to be more or less meritocratic. Nice job with the presentation over all though!

Looking forward to more of him.
