I just received my tissue culture, now what? (Part 2)

Hello from Orange Lake Nursery! We wanted to start by showing you the first step and some tricks to your tissue culture. Following along as we take you from start to finish!

Yes that’s what happened to the one I ordered and got last wk. I cut off the rotted leaves and roots, sprayed hydrogen peroxide, put in leca and topped the leca with sphagnum topped it off with a humidity dome and she’s doing better! Thank you again!!! I love the products!!!!

I had this issue, my plants get shipped to the boonies in SoCal. I root trimmed & left only healthy foliage on my platelets & ALL are thriving.
TC’s can regrow roots & foliage, I like to do 50/50 perlite & stratum in a diy grow box w/ a grow light. Grow box humidity is about 85, so I only use humidity domes around each plantlet the 1st 4 weeks or until all have recovered. If a leaf gets rot, chop it, spray w/ peroxide, soak the plants in anti fungal for 5 min after you rinse the gel off, then rinse & soak 5 min in water, finally, if you have root hormone, dip the root or root ball in it & plant in your chosen substrate.
You want to see humidity in the done but make sure theres NO standing water in reservoir.
When I have to water them, I dilute liquid feed to 25%.

OLN are my favorite nursery, the owners are down to earth & always willing to help, this gentleman talked me through root trimming during a hurricane!

Create a box with a rounded top so it can't be placed upside down. Weighted bottom could help as well as people will feel the weight and put it down that way

Oh it's a gel, I feel like you truly care about your plants & customers..I really appreciate you going out your way to explain this..
Do you ship to England, could I ask aswell, roughly what would the cost of the transport of the plant be, just a rough figure please??..
I really want to have a go at growing some of these amazing plants you have, I would have to buy the cheaper ones for now, but I guess that's how we start..

Could you not wrap the gel in cling film in a ball around around the stem? and possibly hold it tight with string or a rubber band??

Mine came in with the 2 largest leaves/stems were severely bent. Slightly worried but I'm sure they'll be fine in the long run

So I see the bottom of the stem is black? When I received mine, the first one rotted within a week and the replacement had a very rotten bottom but I cut it, soaked in anti fungal and hydrogen peroxide then planted in 3/4 perlite and 1/4 moss, then put under a grow light. I hope it does well! I have a much bigger Thai Con that I ordered as an established plant after my first tissue culture purchase rotted in a week, so I’d at least be able to have a Thai Con that’s thriving! Are you sending them out with rot?

Why is the gel purple or grey looking I purchased a TC from yall recently. Is is bad should I worry?

Why on these tissue cultures? Is that node where the roots come out black? I’ve tried these three times and all three times, the roots turned to mush, and the patios begin to rot off one by one I don’t get it. I’m following every Care instruction and going above and beyond being clean and giving it the proper environment to thrive.

Put the clones in a closed container with a slight opening just large enough for the stem to come out. Keeps the gel stable and enclosed providing a better cleaner overall Customer experience. Better rating, better business. Probably costs an extra .25 cents IF THAT and keeps overhead charges low.

Avoids Plant damage 100%, decreases customer complaints, refunds and replacement charges while also INCREASING overall business by atleast 75% if not 900% factoring in newly charged material costs and new customer traffic from a slight business product adjustment.

Id definitely invest in some small plastic containers to enclose the agar from spreading all over the bag and damaging and potential future business💚🌱

Seems like Puteri BongsuAishah who has Malaysian Armed Forces and The other Malaysian Kingship that has armed forces that are involved in serdang/005164/23 case are at tug of war games though hopefully its only to show who is the best and do it good with justice at its true output.

I am not on the puteri bongsu aisyah (nurul alia bhatt) team. Let the good kingships win over puteri bongsu aisyah.
