I have an iPhone 12 after I updated to iOS 17.3 my iPhone ear speaker stopped working completely. it happened right after the night my phone got software updated . I was very worried did everything I can searched a lot of videos. I cleaned my ear speaker with brush but no success. I watched a video on which I was told to turn on hearing aid compatibility after I turned it on I got 20 percent volume coming from ear speaker which feels like someone is speaking from a distance in the wood. from that point I updated to all iOS updates now I have reached iOS 18. I think it is a software bug because if it was a hardware issue why 20 percent volume comes when hearing aid has been turned on. apple should give a software update to resolve this issue. or if someone can help out I will be very thankful.

Mine didnt work - but turning on 'hearing aid compatibility' i can hear it very low. without this option on i cannot hear anything from the ear speaker - only from the main loud speaker if i choose that - help?!

After update 17.3.1 my ear speaker still works but the sound is very low. The volume is at max but still it sounds like someone is yelling in the distance 😒
