Hi Trevor, this is so useful demo by you. I was about to throw my iPhone as I was not able to hear incoming calls and for music, had to put ears to the bottom of the phone. Now your training has perfectly helped in resetting various sound settings and I am now able to hear loud sounds both from speakers and headphones. Also, I use hearing aids. I adjusted my hearing aid to T-coil mode and the sound from the phone was crystal clear with no background noise. I was really struggling to hear audio from this old iPhone 7 plus, but now I am quite happy to retain and not sell out. Thanks a lot.

I decided to use Accessibility - Touch - Call Audio Routing - SPEAKER ☑️

Because my incoming calls will now go to speaker! I will see if this works, as I have been losing my calls when I attempt to use the speaker button.

In my case it even lowers the volume on my earbuds for a moment I thought it was them, but then I disconnected them and the phone barely made a sound. I got this phone brand new a week ago (iPhone 15)

Later update : I upgraded from iPhone 12 to iPhone 15 and don’t have the issue anymore, so pretty sure it’s a device issue when it happened
