My extremely cheap reliable car will be the 2nd Gen CRV. My mom has had one for 18 years, and outside of the transmission recently giving us trouble, the only real issue with them is the breaks are somewhat finicky

The corvette is a really good car but there are 2 problems that need to be fixed on them if you are baying one number one is there’s not enough air flow to the radiator because of the front bumper design so if you drive it aggressively it will over heat this may have only been with the earlier ones and number 2 would be cylinder deactivation it has proven to be a problem in all Chevrolet models that have it what happens is the 4 cylinders that are deactivated wear out more then the ones that are already activated which then leads to an engine that runs really rough this are both small issues that are easy to get fixed not everyone will need to make small changes to get more air into the radiator but I would advise you got your ECU reprogram to not deactivate cylinder and if you do that the engine should last you a very long time
