Please stop talking about the s2000. It’s an awful car and everyone should avoid buying them so the values can stay low so I can afford to buy one and suffer for everyone else.

The S2000 and the phrase "without breaking the bank" don't go in the same sentence.

For the record, you should definitely check the S2000 oil level regularly. Especially if you spend much time in VTEC. They use a bit.

I just love how all these cars are N/A, they really haven't been getting much love in the sports car segment these days.

370z was definitely the most reliable car I ever owned. Drove it hard, hit the rev limiter at least twice a week, revved to 8000 rpm, never had issues or signs of wear. Amazing car, and people sleep on the VHR as an engine, it's just a great engine.

4:25 "for the time" it's still plenty today, why do people online act as if a base Yaris comes with 750HP stock?

Honestly the 370z is still the perfect blend for a reliable and affordable sports car, it's relatively modern inside new models were on sale up until last year os parts are everywhere unlike many entries here and and is can be used for pretty much anything.

Even in terms of power it makes as much as some of the V8 on the this list.

I’ve had my FR-S for three years and the only thing I’ve had to replace is my clutch. It’s been super reliable and stupid easy to work and learn on.

C5 engine and drivetrain is pretty rock-solid. The body electronics aren't the best though. Expect your window regulators to fail regularly. HVAC actuators also like to go out. I've had to fix a ton of little crap on mine. Parts are generally cheap though.

some ppl gonna laugh or think I’m crazy but the IS250 and 350 are good, reliable fun to drive cars. the 350 is obv much faster and handles a bit better than the 250 but they both have a nice sound once you straight pipe or upgrade the exhaust in some form. And there’s a decent aftermarket for the mechanical and cosmetics of the cars

RSX Type-S looks great, has lots of aftermarket support, and is of course reliable and can be found for under $10K all day long. Just try and find one that hasn’t been abused, good luck with that.

R129 LOVE! I own a 1992 Mercedes 500SL with the older v8 and the hydro 4 speed, but its damn quick, comfy, and pretty easy to throw nitrous at! Mine was only $3k, and is a rock solid piece of german muscle!

Genesis Coupe. I'm at 150, 000 no issues at all. Any car will last if you do your maintenance and don't let any old Joe work on it.

For the past year I’ve owned a 1997 Ford thunderbird and honestly it’s been one of the most fun cars I’ve own. For what you can get them for they are a SC v6 or NA v8 and rwd. And they can be tuned to the moon and back with the modular 4.6 found in literally every Ford it’s just an amazing starter v8 for anyone to own

The IS300 doesnt seem to get a whole ton of love. Especially for being a nicer car with that solid 2JZ-GE

Lexus isf Toyota reliability, 412hp stock, sedan, ton of aftermarket support due to being compatible with some 350 and 250 parts, underrated for sure!

If only I could afford a C6 or s2k for fun and reliability but I'll just have to stick with only fun with my 98 2.5rs
