Hi everyone. I want to remind you that there is a difference between being frugal and being cheap. It is okay to be cheap towards yourself but rarely is it ever okay to be cheap towards others. Thanks for supporting the channel!

I’m 19, a Starbucks barista, living at my parent’s house. I’m finding myself binging your videos, and it’s humbling me. It’s helping me think smarter, bigger picture, etc. thank you.

When I was single all restaurants were half off! Now that I'm married everything doubled in price

My philosophy is being frugal isn’t about being cheap, it’s about being resourceful. I’m frugal but look for the best quality deals.

My husband and I do just about everything this kid says. Thanks for affirming our habits and offering good suggestions. We are 71 years old. YOU ARE A GEM and are shooting out common habits people just don't think about. And what a bonus- You're not selling a course! ROCK ON, YOUNG MAN!

#1 DO NOT go into debt. Debt = interest in their favor in stead of yours = they get rich, you stay poor.

I wish I was as wise as you are 10 years back, 31 and learning, but never too late.

Instead of buying your coffee every morning before work, brew your own. A little savings goes a long way!

One of the best things I've done is to use what I have. I have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years and instead of rushing out to buy something, I look around and see what I already have. Most of the time I can find something that will work, or I can upcycle something else that will work. Feels good not to be wasting money!

The library is the best one for me. I think I've saved over $10k last year just for using the library. Books, movies, video games, even online Lynda courses can be accessed with a single library card. I haven't bought a videogame in four years because all the new games can be borrowed.

Couponing isn’t necessarily a waste. In order for it to benefit you, it needs to be coupons on things you actually use on the regular basis.

Hi Nate, I drive a magical box.( : LOL I am a 74 year old widowed, female. The car I purchased a few years ago was 3 years old and I paid cash for it. Saved 2 ways there. When this car dies completely, I will not replace it. I have done the math and found that for me, it will be cheaper to just use Lift for the few places I need to go. I will have all my groceries delivered. I have already done this several times and saved money by not burning gas or wear and tear on my vehicle. Not owning a vehicle, I will not have to pay for insurance, gas, registration, tires, inspection, repairs or parking fees.

My husband wears the same thing over and over. He loves his gray T-shirts. People notices that all our travel pictures he’s in a gray shirt. Lol! It doesn’t bother him one bit.

Good point with the car. Just changed my own oil and detailed my car last Saturday.

So much quality stuff at thrift stores. I stopped buying bottled water and when I leave my apartment for at least an hour, I shut off my circuit breakers (except fridge/deep freezer). My electric bills are SO much cheaper now. This may be challenging when you're in a house. But at least do it when everyone is out of house all at once or on vacation. I don't own many things that need to be reset. It will cut your bills down so much.
