The day I got my braces on, was a Friday ofc, I bit into a sandwich that night and the very back bracket broke, leaving wire stabbing into my cheek. It was awful. My orthodontist was awesome and had us come to his friggin mansion 20 minutes away the next morning. He fixed it in his kitchen!

I still remember how fucking painful it was everytime the dentist used to tighten that braces wire.
At the beginning he forgot to tell us that the wire will become loose and poke out from the back overtime. The insides of my mouth literally had a a centimetres deep cut marks.

My bracket came out yesterday but I didn’t realize and swallowed it…I was eating a sandwich. If you swallow your bracket it is ok my orthodontist said it is completely harmless 👍🏽😺

I broke my back bracket like 18 hours before the 1st appointment and I was afraid to get in trouble, so I didn't cut off the wire. It cutted open my cheek and took a week to heal ... *moral of the story, dont lose your wax* 😅

I need to get braces, but I’m hoping I’m eligible for Invisalign so this way my mom doesn’t have to drive 2 1/2 hours just to get me to an orthodontist in case my braces break. They don’t have an Orthodontist in my town, and the nearest one is 2 and a half hours away, so yay.
