Gurl, not all of us have the braces that need a band. Mine have doors and the rubber band is for fun. What you demonstrated are traditional brackets, I have Damron style brackets

Doctor, can you help. My daughter has many porcelain crowns and is getting braces. I thought special glue would be used, but was told it would be the same that they will on natural teeth. Will her crowns most likely be ok? Her teeth are pretty straight but she has overjet.
