It is truly heartwarming to listen to a true scientistic soul.
Keep up the good job

05:00 - yes, soil cobalt. In New Zealand's north island central volcanic plateau - what was initially called 'bush sickness' in grazing animals was eventually shown to be a nutritional deficiency that resulted from the volcanic parent material being low in cobalt.

I agree completely with the presentation, but it's unfortunate that the slide at the end showing photos of whole foods contrasted with processed foods includes pasta in the whole foods picture.

Weird. I'm a farmer raising chickens, sheep dairy and beef cattle, and I've never needed to B12 supplement my animals

Excellent talk by Georgia Ede. Confirms how I've thought and what my mother taught me about eating naturally and well. I do wish this information was more widely disseminated as so many people just believe all the propaganda as to what is a healthy diet, which may very likely be a truly unhealthy diet. And, so many people are angry at people who advocate eating healthy, grass-fed beef and other natural meat proteins as part of a diet because they accuse us of destroying the planet. I wish people wanted to learn and not just listen to and adhere to soundbites from propagandists.

Very informative.
I learnt a lot on this video.
"Most chronic diseases are driven, not on how many plant or animal foods you eat, but whether or not, you have insulation resistance."
"Check your insulation resistance".
I will as soon as I can

The first key of diet is avoid poison, ie seed oils and chemicals.

There is such a large range of biological/physiological variability that some people can, in fact, do well on a wide variety of diets. I know a lot of healthy vegans, carnivores and omnivores. Do what works for you. I agree there shouldn't be "bashing", but the biggest bashers by far have been and are vegans. If you are not one of those awesome! But most vegans I know come across as if they have some kind of moral high ground...which they don't. Most of the charged emotions we see from carnivores are push back from the years of bashing by vegans!

"HT#5" is really nowhere near half true. Brain _can_ get most of its energy from ketones and even seems to prefer them according to some studies; for the rest, as we all know, gluconeogenesis exists.

19:20 so how is it that I experienced a few moments of blindness while in deep ketosis, given that there are some glucoobligatory nerves related to sight? Someone please explain this to me.

Where do vegans think the vitamin B12 in supplements come from?

She's on the right track but missing the big picture. It's not just about missing micro-nutrients. It's also about toxicity, anti-nutrients, gut damage and auto-immune disease. It's also about the metabolic syndrome group of diseases. Plants can provide most of the nutrients you need, but will fuck you up in the process.

I don't know man
I know a lot of people who lived as vegetarians for a period of 30-40 years or more and people who are vegans for a period of 15-20 years. They don't seem to have any health problem or something.
But, industrialized or processed meat/food is bad for your health.
Food optimisation is necessary. Yes, there are some vegetables which can cause harm to the body, but that again depends on the quantity we consume. Most of that harm can be avoided by
Simply taking a little care

Being vegan is great because I love all animals.
Does that not sound better than saying being vegan will help me be skinny.
Health has nothing much to with looking good in a bikini. It just sounds better to say save the animals.
