When you take your dog to the vet, the first question they ask is, "What are you feeding him?" Has a human doctor ever asked you, "What are you eating?" No, of course not.

My mother died of Lewy Body Dementia, my father is in an Alzheimer’s ward at a nursing home and that has led me from Keto to Carnivore. I am doing well, cognitive function is greatly improved. My daily crossword takes half the time it used to.
I want to share the interesting thing that has happened since the new Covid rules have come into effect. My father was deep into his disease, he no longer spoke, he stopped playing his harmonica, he was disappearing.
My dear and well meaning sisters would bring my dad “treats” when they visited. They love to bake and made sure he always had something to snack on including cases of Pepsi. When the nursing home went into lockdown they were no longer able to bring anything in when they visited. Something amazing happened, he started to talk again, he started playing his harmonica again and was very engaged when they visited him. I suggested the change in diet may be the reason for his improvements but of course they would hear none of this. I am hoping that there are studies being done in Alzheimer’s wards that will one day change people’s thinking.

I teared up at around the 45-50 minute mark to hear you speak kindly about vegans. A few other physicians who promote the carnivore diet are sometimes snarky and sarcastic. As a recovering vegan myself, what’s keeping me here on this channel is Dr. Berry’s kindness and the kindness of his guests. It’s much easier to learn new information when ridicule is absent from the teaching process. Thank you, Dr. Berry.

Age 70. Lifelong low grade depression and anxiety have resolved in only 6 months eating 99 per cent carnivore. Decades long fibromyalgia is improving after getting off oxalates.

I love the old saying, I am a secondary vegetarian, cows eat grass and I eat cows. I really believe this is more than just a joke it's a good way to live.

I'm watching this very late but I wanted to point out that there are so many mental/behavioral issues in children that are being caused by a bad diet, artificial colors and flavors, seed oils, and carbs. It's no wonder we have an epidemic of ADD, ADHD, and other behavioral issues in kids and teens.

I wish I knew this 18 years ago when my vegetarian/vegan girlfriend committed suicide after a monumental battle with depression. She loved meat, but her milieu had convinced her that eating more vegetables, especially tofu, was the key to cure her mental health struggle.
It was the most pain I’ve ever experienced by far. Nothing has since come close.

Keto definitely helps with depression, and multiple sclerosis symptoms. Lost 100 lbs in 14 months. Decided to let myself eat what I wanted for a few weeks. Gained 10 lbs and depression got horrible. My hands arthritis, is almost painless in ketosis. I’m a believer in keto.

Thank you doctors, thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been clinically depressed for 25 years and have had anxiety for probably about that long too. Less than 4 weeks into Carnivore, and I feel like some weight has been lifted and some light is shining in. It may be about 25-50% better, but that amount feels BLISSFUL! I can not wait for continued improvement, this is such a gift! And I didn't even know that this could be accomplished through Carnivore. I just started feeling better one day and started to look into why. Surprise! I am so profoundly grateful. Thank you to you both for your mission. You. Change. Lives.

Within 6 weeks of eating Keto I felt that I didn't need those depression pills anymore. Now I take very little insulin once or twice a day, A1C at 5.1%. Not 6 times a day as I used to take before keto I was mostly a vegetarian I used to eat around 150-180g I have always counted my carbs because I'm a type one diabetic but that low fat diet didn't help me. And I wasn't even having Sugar, chips or cookies, my diet was "pretty clean" breakfast a fat free turkey breasy slice with light mayo and whole wheat bread, lunch broccoli, lentils, quinoa for lunch. Dinner half plantain with margarine. Horrible!! Thank you Dr. Berry for this interview.💕 I will translate this to my mom. She's 41 and has been taking metformin, can't never sleep over 3h continuously. She needs to try keto!🙏

Dr Georgia is I listen to so many psychologists and doctors on mental health and no one has so convincingly educated me on how important my diet is. She is wonderful and compassionate. God bless you Dr Georgia.

I can’t explain how blessed we all are to have this information. Bipolar is beyond terrible.

Whilst I don't admit to ever having depression, the most I admitted to was humans were supposed to experience a variety of moods and we too readily resort to drugs to avoid life, I was blown away with how happy and stable my moods were when I went Keto. I cannot overstate the difference to my feeling of well being with Keto.

I so appreciate this integration of mental health and physical health. I’ve just recently stopped entirely my stress eating of Fritos and potato chips. I was pouring my Fritos into my bags of potato chips every day. I was drinking mini Coca-Cola with it. I’ve never eaten like this ever until I was no longer working and suffering from stress from this Covid madness. I just started not feeling well and my breath was I thought sulfuric. Long story short I just stopped cold turkey 4 weeks ago. I started eating chicken liver and bacon etc. I’m also starting to make my own bone broth. I already feel better and am less depressed. I’m eating eggs also. I’ll never eat that junk ever again. My best trait is I’m constantly researching to improve my psychology and physical health thus found you Dr Berry. Ty both so much. I also am a childhood trauma survivor. Ty Dr Georgia so much explaining how doing carnivore will also help me deal with my ptsd from childhood trauma. I’ve done years of recovery in this area but no one ever addressed my diet. I cannot thank you enough.

I never put 2 + 2 together until watching this video today. For the past 20 years, my life has been one tragedy after another (death of multiple loved ones, family tragedies, and my own near-death experience - twice!) and I could never drag myself out of the deep depression I knew I was suffering from. Hence, I didn't care about myself or take care of myself and I am now 65 pounds overweight. I've been eating Keto for the past 6 weeks (down 17 pounds) and I realized this week that I am not only feeling better physically, but I'm feeling so much more calm and happy again. I just never connected my mental health with my eating habits. Great video! Thank you.

My mother ate SAD diet - carb and sugar addiction
developed type two diabetes at age 60 and dementia at 65 to 70 & heart disease and ended up passing away at 75

I DO not want to die in 10 more years from these illnesses!
Mental illness/ depression and diabetes has been prevalent in my family.
