This brings tears to my eyes. Ive been diabetic for 30 years. I've felt for a long time that more could've been done. I recently found out about fasting myself. Just by watching and listening to numerous podcasts, im finding out im being screwed. Im taking back responsibility for myself. Im done taking Mounjaro. My endrocanologist wants me to keep taking it. I'm done. Thank you for keeping us informed.

I am 71 years old. Two years ago I lost 100 pounds and have kept it off since. Went from a 42 inch waist to a 32 inch waist. My latest blood work shows my A1C is 4.6 and my triglycerides are 42. HDL is 63. I eat less than 20 grams of carbs a day. Keto/Carnivore.

Yeah, he’s right! I did it. Not even a month, just three weeks, dropped blood pressure to normal, dropped blood sugar, dropping weight. And it goes on . . . Now entirely off meds, working out more vigorously, feel more energetic, don’t feel hungry, ever, so no snacking. Zero sugar, zero crap carbs . . . Never again! Do It! It works!

You absolutely can cure diabetes with diet! I went from A1C 13 to A1C 5.5 with diet alone! Very strict ketovore only!

I was as heavy as 375 with a triglyceride to hdl ratio over 4.5. In 2022 at 350 With an A1c of 6. Blood glucose over 100 and knowing I was going to die early or lose a foot. I changed overnight and dropped 120 lbs in about 8 months. Down 160lbs from my highest.
Weightloss has slowed in my second year. But at 54 years old Blood sugar is good. A1c is 5-5.3 and my triglyceride/hdl ratio is 1.04. Just had a fasting insulin done. It was 5.4. It’s been an amazing change.

Yes you can absolutely cure type two diabetes. My doctor was floored. The first thing I got rid of was statins and he bought me tooth and nail. But I listen to you Doc lol I’m so glad I did. My mother had diabetes. She went to Pritiken clinic and began a diet in complex carbohydrates and very little red meat. No fats other than olive oil. She died of heart attack while continuing insulin at lowest dose because doctors would not take her off, claiming that she might have allergic reaction if she ever had to go back on the insulin.
She was 68 years old.
I feel she would still be alive if it had not been for modern medicine.

I made a note awhile back (because I was so angry!) - a physician from Harvard - I believe her name was Fatima Stamford - was on 60 Minutes, and claimed diabetes had nothing to do with diet or exercise, that it was all genetics and disease. Of course - she is sponsored by Novartis, who makes Ozempic! Sadly, she's also a member of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines Panel - and 95% of the members on that panel have ties to processed food companies! Anybody want to bet there was an ad for Ozempic during that 60 Minutes episode?

This is exactly the info I heard from Dr Pradip Jamnadas which really got my attention!! He talks about our eating habits that keep insulin spiked, which stops us from burning fat, and how there should be no such thing as "pre-diabetic", it means we are EATING WRONG!! That is what started me finding out more and eating REAL foods, not processed, and limiting carbs. Fantastic info!

At 42:00 in this video, Cynthia suggests using 140 mg/dL as a peak value that you should never exceed. Of course, the question that remains is how often would you allow yourself to get a spike approaching 140? Would it be once a day? Once a week? Once a month? Once in a blue moon? The correct answer is... are you ready for it... NEVER! In fact, cardiologist Dr. William Davis advocates the "no change" rule. By that he means if your pre-meal blood sugar is a reasonably healthy 90 mg/dL, your post meal value, tested about 1 hour after you started eating, should remain at 90 mg/dL. That is achievable. But to accomplish this, he suggests you limit your net carb consumption to 15 grams or less per meal. And, preferably, your meals are 6 hours apart (which most likely means eating 2 meals per day). And, of course, no snacking between meals. You can now appreciate how far off from optimal some of the advice you hear can be. But a carnivore/ketovore eating style would be one way to achieve the "no change" target successfully.

Dr Berrys advice and videos saved my life. I reversed my t2d 3 yrs ago by cutting out all processed foods, sugars, including artificial sweeteners. A1c was 9.5, now between 5.1-5.3. Age 65, feel 30 yrs younger. Bonus....off ALL meds including statins, hbp . Never looking back. Have moved from eating meat veggies (under 10 g carbs daily) to carnivore. Lost 65 lbs. Non scale victories.... Zero headaches or even a cold in 2 yrs, no more swollen ankles, dry alscaly patches of skin gone, skin tags gone, vision improved, hair thicker, amazing energy, zero brain fog.. Only supplements...Vit D3/K2 oil, Lugols iodine

The trash that each hospital patient generates is huge! It’s disgusting! Everything is disposable so ends up in the dump or the ocean. Dr Berry is correct. Every day a, a mountain of plastic trash. Also, look at the roadsides. People fling their trash out car windows. It’s truly obnoxious.
