Great video and very helpful. Would you like to suggest me grass seeds to use on acidic soil?

So I moved to the panhandle and got 40 acres. I have about 15 acres of big pines spread out pretty far from each other. The area was choked with hollies that I had forestry mulched. Had a guy come over to give advice on making my place pasture. Your impression was dead on of this guy and his assessment of the pines. I'm going to amend the soil and put down some grass seed in the spring. Thanks for this video

In western Kansas have soil ph of 6.8-8.3ph. Have pines growing in 7.8 ph I soil sampled. Took soil sample almost 15 years later and ph has dropped to 6.1 where needles layed. So yes! They do grow in high ph and yes! They also lower ph from the needles.

I have leaves and pine needles in my yard. I normally rake them up. I like to mulch the leaves with the lawn mower. Will it hurt to run over them with the mower and then get the access up or need to get them up with the rake. I'm trying to find an easier way to clean my yard up. I'm tired of having to mowe and rake. It takes all day .

I have a yard I am trying to repair for a client, it is totally destroyed and I thought it was from the pine needles. Would it be okay for me to mow up all the dead needles? I didn’t want to do this, so I started blowing and bagging it. It would be quicker for me to mow it up, blow it and mow it up some more.
So it won’t hurt? I think you already answered the question with the video so thanks! Haha
