I'm type II diabetic, been doing carnivore for almost 3 months and effortlessly have lost about 25 pounds. I have an appointment with my doctor in about 2 weeks can't wait to see what my A1C is.
Update - Sept 12, 2023! Just went to my doctor today and I've lost 34 pounds and my A1C is 5.7

Mine was still out of control with two medications and talking about adding a third. I went keto/carnivore and lost 80 pounds and now on one low dose. I’m a walking billboard for this! Thank you doctor Berry and nurse Neisha!

I never realized what sugar does until I decided to get off of it. All these skin tags that got smaller as I stopped consuming so much sugar. Besides that, I’m finally feeling better and dropping those lbs.

I started on carnivore in Sept. 2022. I had a doctor's appt in Jan 2023, and my BP dose was lowered from 10 mg to 5 mg. Latest doctor appt/bloodwork was last month (July 2023), and I'm officially off all BP medication. I started carnivore after seeing your BBBE challenge videos. My HDL and triglyceride numbers also improved drastically and my cholesterol ratio value went down, too. Thank you!!!!

I've been Carnivore since beginning of March 2023. By May I had to stop my BP Medicine as I got too lightheaded. BP dropped down to 120'3 over 70's. Dr. officially stopped my BP in July during my annual physical. He also told me my pre-pre-diabetes numbers were now normal. Cholesterol was high, but I've always been high. I told him I would take the two out of three. I've also lost 25+ lbs since starting, feel great and more focused.

That’s very simple to figure out why. Fluid balance. When you eat starchy or sugary carbs the body holds onto fluid, thus keeping homeostatic blood pressure. When you dump your glycogen stores the fluid can’t hold onto the glucose so you pee it out and thus your fluid balance is altered. As long as you’re drinking enough water though that’s a very good thing to have more frequent fluid turnover in the body.

Dash diet for years didn’t help me at all. 7 months keto and my BP is perfect!

I'm 64. I'm also 6'4" tall and weigh 315 lbs. I have dropped 20 pounds in the 2 months that I've been on Keto/Carnivore diet. My blood pressure has gone from the low 140's over 88 to 116/77. Yet, My cardiologist seems to want me to stay on Metoprolol, Losartan and Flecainide😢

I’ve been doing mainly Lion but some Carnivore for exactly 80 days and today I’m so happy as I lost exactly 30 kg since my second peak and record highest weight.
My first peak triggered my use of OZEMPIC which, though expensive was very effective.
Thanks to tight supply, the Australian Federal Government put a ban on non diabetic patients, which is understandable, however, to my frustration, they never reversed this decision once supply resumed. Could this be to keep big Pharma in business, and/or reduce life expectancy?
I let you be the judge.
Anyway, because this was removed my weight just slowly piled back on.
I had to make a choice, live and try the Carnivore diet (I did not know of Lion at the time), or die a miserable death as I had sleep apnea, high blood pressure, pre diabetic, etc etc with just simple things being insurmountable.
It was not easy during the intense toxic purge, but I refused to give in.
I figured, it took me (I’m 53), roughly 40 plus years of eating sugar/carbs/anything with a sweet taste (including artificial sweeteners…they are a trap), so no doubt I knew it was going (still in progress) to take commitment and time to reverse my insulin resistance and become insulin sensitive/healthy again.
Fatty meat is your friend, especially ruminate meat.
My stats:
182cm
Now 124 kg.
Was 154 kg (second peak).
First peak was 144 kg.

From here my next goal is 100kg.

My ultimate goal is 85kg.

Once I obtain 100, I intend to lean towards Carnivore/Keto, but more Carnivore till I reach 85kg.
Once I hit 85, I intend to be Keto.
This is my journey.
I pray this may help those that, like me seem lost.
Oh, my brain thinking is faster and that fog I had is long gone. Funny how easy it is to forget how bad I really was.
Good luck on your Journey.
You CAN do it!
I also forgot to mention that I no longer take blood pressure meds, my chronic pain is reduced. I actually no longer take ANY meds!
Sorry big Pharma…😂

I’m of BP meds after 7 years . I think it is keto, adding redmonds and the potassium I’m talking . Thank you Dr Berry!
