47 year old man here and was 270lb 3 years ago. I was taking 4 pills a day for my blood pressure and 3-4 pills a day for my heartburns and acid reflux. I'm now at 175lb and taking no medication at all. Even my family doctor couldn't believe his eyes when he saw me and cancelled all my prescription meds. Keto/Carnivore way of living is probably a life saver for me, thanks Dr. Berry!!

My 89 yo Mom is healthier than she was at 50 and takes only 3 pills now. Low carb since 2018 and she’s off metformin, statin and verapamil. She’s weaning off gabapentin as well. Lymphedema and PAD is better, no more foot or leg ulcers. Keto has helped her stay independent. Relatives still send us articles about “the dangers of keto.” Anyone can do it! Thanks for showing us the way Dr. Berry!

There’s no way the FDA would allow such promotions about keto especially if the intentions were to supersede the Standard American Diet because it would put some of the largest (junk) food manufacturers out of business.

I had been living on a DASH diet unknowingly all of my life. Well, in May 2022 at age 55, I was diagnosed as diabetic. A1C was 6.6 and avg glucose 142. I had already watched a number of Dr Berry’s vids, so I immediately went on a keto diet, to include keto chow electrolyte drops in my water and ACV in water once each day. 1 year later my dr can’t believe it. A1C is 5.5 and avg glucose is 111. Triglycerides back in normal range. Also lost 35 lbs and back to a healthy weight. BP has been hovering around 120s/70-80. Will continue the keto diet as I feel so much better and I could probably improve my numbers a bit more. (This is not medical advice as I am not a dr. I am a patient sharing my results after 1-year on a voluntary keto diet, followed it religiously.)

When I went onto the keto diet I lost 30 kgs. My doctor was pleased nut he never lowered my diabetes meds. I was not as educated then so I just kept taking them. Then I got really sick all the time. Was sent to an endocrinologist who sent me on to have an endoscopy. All clear but I was still sick. I had to work it out for myself. Stopped the Metformin and here I am 5 years later a very happy healthy 64 years old. Doctors are not always on the ball.

i had an appointment with my endocrinologist for my T2D last week. She scolded me for my low carb (25 g) intermittent fasting diet (I went from A1c of 8.1% down to 6.7% and down 5 lbs over two months). I can only remember high level specifics but she just recently returned from a national endocrine society meeting where diet was discussed and my diet ehould be at least 3 meals a day and be 30-40% It would be funny if not so sad. 😮. Another point, and i am not trying to be superficial, but she was very overweight and it was mostly belly fat. I have had a small fortune deducted from my pay check over my career and now needing medical advice and a board certified endocrinologist suggests 40% carbs!! WOW! Thank You Dr Berry for the information you provide!!

I am an RN case manager working with pts that are dealing with chronic illness (HTN, CHF, DM) - sadly the team (docs and nurses) I work with recommends the DASH diet to all our pts. I have started discussing the "proper human diet" with my pts that are open to hearing about it. I have sent this study on to my team to review, planting seeds! Thanks for all you do Doc.

55 years old. I have been doing carnivore about 2.5months. Down 11 pounds, lipid panel numbers are still off, but I am still figuring this all out. My IBS is virtually gone and very little joint or muscle pain. I had a small flair up when I ate a small slice of watermelon and 1/2 an ear of corn, learned my lesson! I have a Dr as a client and he told me studies are showing statins cause type 2 diabetes! My cardiologist just told me to do the DASH diet. I had no intentions of following it. The first time I ever heard of carnivore I knew there was something here because the list of veggies I had to avoid for IBS was insane! I also just went in on a grassfed grass finished cow with friends, never have I ever been so excited to buy meat! 🤣Thank you Dr Berry and Neisha! I haven’t felt this good in years and I am just beginning! ♥️♥️

When I told my friends and family that keto got me off lisinopril, lowered my A1C, improved my triglicerides, and stabilized my BP, I received major skepticism and a lot of low brow accusations of confirmation bias. I'm glad someone did this trial.

Dr Ken, I am so glad I started searching for a better way and found your channel. I just started carnivore at the beginning of this month and I’ve already noticed positive changes in my health. I am in week three and have lost 6 pounds already! After menopause, nothing worked for me until now 🎉😊

Hi, I live in the UK and an avid follower of your channel. I have followed the low carb and do 20/4 intermittent fasting. I have lost 121lbs and had my diabetic results today my Hba1c has dropped from 12 to 5.8 and now off all diabetic meds. Interesting the diabetic nurse said that the Worcester area (where I live) is going to trial low carb and intermittent fasting and she said my input would be valuable. So your advice is permeating through to my local health service.

I have always found it interesting that the "Ketogenic" diet has been recognized as life-saving for "untreatable" seizure disorders. Medical "Professionals" are allowed to try it if AND ONLY IF all other medical, (read pharmaceutical), interventions have failed. Why not try it first? It couldn't be the potential profit loss, so what is it?

I did my own study on this. I was diagnosed as pre diabetic and high blood pressure. My doctor suggested the dash diet, i ignored her and switched to a Ketovore diet. I'm no longer pre diabetic, taking only 25% of my original bp meds, i feel like i can reduce it even more and lost 60 lbs in one year. Dash diet should be renamed SAD-lite diet.
