I've started exercising again to get my BP down and I was doing literally everything wrong, for example I done a one minute plank and thought my head was going to explode and ended up with bloodshot eyes like you wouldn't believe.Loads of great advice in this video which is common sense when it's explained so well, thank you so much.

So glad I found this.
At 55 I’ve finally got my head to wanting to excercise..
I’ve got high BP and doctors just keep piling on more pills.which I don’t want.
I’m changed diet to a mainly plant based diet, and now looking to excercise
This video AND the workout one are exactly what I needed to find.
🙏 thank you

I'm 32 and had gotten diagnosed with hypertension after having my baby. I'm really scared because I've never been on medication before and it really has changed my lifestyle. I am willing to put in that work now to excerise more as well as change my eating habits. I have a goal and I'm looking to see results within then next 2/3 months. 💜

This was very helpful. Thank you so much

@Exercise For Health - I just stumbled upon this video from YouTube recommendations, and I can’t thank enough. This is a brilliant video. I’m 35 years old, and since 4 years on a hypertension medication. My BP is lingering in the 125/ 88-90 zone with a low dose medicine. I am very keen on muscle building, and enjoyed strength training. However, my doctor had advised me to stay away from the gym. Could you please suggest or make a video demonstrating a routine for strength training exercises which is safe and also helps in toning the body. I’d really appreciate your advice.

Just checking in again. I thought I was in good shape for 80, but these exercises get me just as winded as my HIIT workout. To be honest, some of the fast versions I can't keep up with and have to do the slower versions. Much of it is also my balance not being what it used to be. Anyway I'm also going through your other videos since I also have coronary artery disease. I'm keeping a heart healthy diet, but I find not many doctors agree with it. I try to engage them in a discussion but they don't want to take the time...they just want me to do what they tell me, and to not ask any questions.
Thanks again.

Thaks for this. I've been following your walking on the spot series and often wondered about breathing patterns. All other advice on this subject will be welcome. Thanks in advance

Great information I have blood pressure issues and I’m planning on going back to the gym. This will help to keep me safe thanks. I haven’t had a drink in a month and haven’t had to take blood pressure medication in a week. I do walk 4 times a week at least 45 minutes. Thanks for the info.

Great tips. No lifting above the head and consider compound exercises. Don't hold your breath (Valsalva maneuver); Thanks !!

Thanks for this great video. I'm experiencing persisting high blood pressure for the last two weeks. I have noticed this after overhead bench pressing with more weights I could handle and forcing myself to valsalva manoeuvre. Now I try to reduce it by abstaining from the gym and following a healthier diet before seeking medical advice...
