Great job Kyle! The truth of the Gospel never grows mundane or stale to the believer. To ponder what we deserve, in light of what we have been given should always invoke a heart of awe and deep thankfulness. Appreciated hearing this on a Monday morning. Blessings.

Kyle is a masterful presenter. Always well prepared. You do not get cheated when he is teaching. Solid foundational doctrine broken down in an apologetic way and style you can understand and appreciate. Of course for the die-hards out there, the long version can be found in DISPENSATIONAL TRUTH (1898) Charles Larkin, it does come w illustrations. Thank you Kyle.

I also like what Kyle said - we were meant to dwell with God. I like what the late great Adrian Rogers once said, "If there were no heaven, I would still be a Christian". When you think about this, yes Heaven is great and perfect. The world was also created in the same way before we messed it up. The master carpenter did build these things to be appreciated, and enjoyed. Still the creation is not greater than the Creator. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. For the second God blows the whistle to review and give an account of how we lived with the gift of life He gave us, means to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. That can be scary for some - who have decided they did not want God in their life here, nor there. Their wish sadly will be granted. That will be melancholy maybe for others, who realize we could have done something for Christ and the kingdom, so we believed, but kept it mainly to ourselves, we did not share the good news with our neighbor, invite them to Church, share with them the good things Christ has done in our hearts and lives how he turned us around, and so - yes these will be in heaven, but have little to no rewards. At the Bema seat, some will be very happy indeed. For like Pastor Darryl says I do not want to have a lesser assignment when it is time to begin eternity, so I fear the Lord and do all I can - right here, right now.

A good illustration from a WISE old pastor ~ using Solomon's Hebrew word of (vanity) and likening it to but a steam or vapor ... quickly gone, a spec, like a grain of sand, a blade of grass if that would be the life we live - TEMPORAL when held up to the light and weight of ETERNITY. A sombering thought, live for self or live for God. Each and every one of us are SINNERS. In and of ourselves we have no substantial way or hope to salvation, so the worse news is we cannot save ourselves, and we must be born again. The only way this happens, as Kyle so eloquently stated is thru Jesus. No man comes to the Father, unless they come thru the Cross of Calvary. No man has a desire to repent, unless God puts a seed of hope to believe in His heart. Jesus is the Only Way, the Truth, the Life. Thru Him man must be saved if he is to be saved at all.

Christians believe in an afterlife because they have become convinced that THIS LIFE, this precious gift of life they have right now is ruined. It's horrible how it tempts you. It's filthy being here and the only way out is dead. Someone tells them that they are doomed from the womb, and that you inherited the penalty for someone ELSE's wrongdoing. That someone ELSE has to save you. But you don't want to just die because you have the universal human dread of the unknown. So you think you can shite on the gift of this miraculous life and expect to get one better to your liking.
