I can't not focus on the end of the video about "learning when to stop and step away". As someone who competed in many games and many genres who also has the unluck of having quite the list of debuffs(mental illness/issues). I find it very hard to stop even though I know I need a break from something and by the time I do it's way too late and something ended up happening.

Unrelated to Pokémon, but I defo did some BMS for games I played seriously. I’d find a way to either win with gimmicks or play in stupid ways

One example of this would in OSU!Mania a few years ago. I got so bored of the game I did everything from playing on a controller to with just three fingers. Eventually I did just take a break and came back and it was for the better. Glad it’s recognized in other games as well

Gonna disagree. Gens 3 and 8 specifically are notorious for how their metagames are still evolving. I'd argue something like Jynx is way better in 8 than something like Zarude tbh.
