I love how Gen 5 really delves into mature these like nature vs nurture and teaching kids about the dangers of propaganda.

Ghetsis carefully curated N’s upbringing to intentionally guide him into the worldview that the relationship between humans and Pokémon is inherently abusive.

If you talk to the Team Plasma grunts in the Castle at the end of the game they say that Ghetsis learned from the mistakes of other evil teams like Team Rocket and Team Galactic, understanding that it was Pokemon trainers that stopped them. The whole Pokemon liberation thing is an act so that there won’t be any Trainers left to stand in his way.

He’s barely even a villain, he is innocent, he’s just being told that doing something that, actly isn’t that bad to begin with, you know, stopping slavery, or ig minimalist slavery as the Pokémon are fine with it and love their trainers usually, he was told this was bad at a young age and that’s gonna stick

My guess is
Nostalgic Genwunners (who only cares about Gen 1 games and Pokemon anime and GREATLY abuse them then never cared the rest) and it's not for enthusiastic Genwunners who respects and appreciates Pokemon games and Pokemon.

Nostalgic Genwhiners as Genfivers, Gentwoers, Genthreers and Genfourers (Same role as nostalgic Genwunners but only cares about Gen 2, 3, 4 or 5 games and anime and worse)

Nostalgic Newgenners as Gensixers, Genseveners, Geneighters and Genniners (Same thing as Genwunners and Genwhiners but even worse and only cares from Gen 6 to Gen 9 games and anime)
Are probably abusing a few Pokemon as their HM slaves in games or Short anime, etc.

Maybe N was right but not to casual Pokemon fans like myself, Know-it-all Pokemon fans, etc.
Nostalgia to all one Pokemon generation and one region is an idol to any of nostalgic Pokemon fans that only cares about Pokemon and only one region and Generation.

And not for Team Plasma and Ghetsis because we Pokemon fans will fearfully or bravely battle Ghetsis at the end as Giovanni.

Sorry, the wording threw me off. When you use the word "other" like this, it's insinuating there are other girls, not other kids he's adopted. It just made me laugh a bit.

To be fair though, N is probably one of the more feminine rivals/evil team member types in Pokemon. Also, ones of the "hottest" according to a lot of people. 😂

Anyway, I'm on a tangent. I've always loved Gen 5. I emulated the Japanese version before it made it to the US back in the day, when Pokemon used to do that. It was fun playing it through without being able to read it properly and sussing out what was going on. The story is pretty cool.

Edit: I always loved the idea that one dragon is "ideals" and the other is "truth, " since we need both to exist conscientiously. We humans live life seeing our own version of Truth through our own lenses. We need Ideals to mold what Truth we see into something comprehesible. You can't have one without the other, poetically and consciously. Together, they create balance, expanded consciousness, and a deeper understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around us.

If you have only Ideals, then you get dangerous people like Ghetsis. If you have only Truth, then humans can't realistically exist, because we will always interpret things through the lens of our perception. It would be an empty, meaningless world for sentient creatures like humans and Pokemon either way.
