Why Magneto Can Never Be In the MCU

Magneto's a little too OP, especially for the MCU - the only consistent counter to him (other than his own moral compass) is a mutant who can CONTROL EVERYONE'S BRAINS. And in the MCU, there's really NO ONE who could stop him...so let's hope Fox and Marvel Studios never work out a deal.

-Cap's shield is explicitly shown to be magnetic in Age of Ultron

People don't realize over the years how much respect Magneto has for Wolverine.

He could have ripped him to shreds anytime. This was demonstrated finally in the comics when he liquefied the adamantium in his body and ripped it off his bones. Gruesome.

That caused Xavier to turn Magneto into a vegetable which in turn started the Onslaught saga.

This never ceases to amuse me because Magneto never plays the Holocaust survivor card unless he is trying to recruit a mutant so seeing it used in self-defense like that is hilarious.

Theres been a few times where magneto used his mastery over electro magnetism to disrupt the signals from a persons brain and essentially shut them off. He can do far more than just manipulate metal, hope mcu manages to display that

As much as I am a Wolverine fan, I still loved when Magneto meets him on the train in the first X-men movie. My whole Wolverine world came crashing down....then I laughed, then thought ok Magneto is badass! He's my 2nd fav now.

Magneto is an absolutely terrifying villain. He could stop the Earth's magnetic field and destroy the whole planet if he wanted.
