What I like about Nemona is when she was smurfing against you (playing using a weaker team even though shes already a champion level trainer) she used a level 5 paldea starter. Then, in her final battle against you, she actually uses the starter that she picked during that time that you started your journey to signify that she too has been training around the same pace as you are. She purposely made the starter her new ace just for the occasion of going all out using her OG team against you.

This pretty much sums up Nemona's in depth character. Yeah, she's clingy, she's a bit obsessed, she's kinda weird, but there's a reason. She not only sees your potential and understands that you can actually have a chance at beating her, but she also sees someone that she could finally be herself around. She doesn't just want a rival. She wants a real friend.

I didn't actually complete the game so I didn't realize all of this, but this is actually really touching. A lot of YouTubers say she's clingy because of a crush, but this really is the truth: She just wanted someone to believe in her.
Edit: I would never expect this to get so much attention. I just posted this comment to just say my opinion, but now, I just wanted to say thanks for all of this attention. I don't really post videos because I don't have the resources, so getting all of this attention makes me happy.

This is part of why I love this game so much. Every part of the story of this game is just something I really needed to experience when I actually was a kid. I was severely bullied, betrayed by my own family, and rejected for my intelligence and passion to the point that I was absolutely terrified to even admit when I liked something. I love Nemona, and i....may have cried a lot during these games.

She just keeps winning which makes not only the battle unfair but makes her sad that there isn't a single worthy opponent around her

The game showed a better arc with Arven and Mabosstiff. Hadn’t cried that hard and that long in decades before the scene where Mabosstiff finally stood up and wanted to play fetch.

Taking the time to understand her story, she’s actually quite an endearing character, despite her stalker vibes she has wholesome intentions. I appreciate this different take on a rival, it made for some compelling writing when you dig into it

There's also the relationship with her parents. She said her parents were, "hands off but in a good way" meaning she had to learn and grow for herself, without her parents guidance. While this was successful, it appears that it caused distance her and her parents. She doesn't mention her family at all unless directly asked about them. Which I think is sad, she's not close with her family

I’m really glad someone made this. I thought I was the only one who put the pieces together for her story, and I was so tired of everyone calling her unnecessarily possessive, because there is a reason. I relate to nemona on a personal level and I wish others would look past her yandere-ness and see her for who she really is, too.

This is what I think of Nemona:

Nemona is a representation of the player, think about It, she wants to battle every time, she completed the game by becoming champion, after that theres nothing to do but battle, shes bored! Also you know how everyone's terastalization animation theres some struggle? Look at Nemona's arm, what if she uses the glove because she used Terastalization a LOT of times or maybe even at the start of the battle! Like we do with Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, Gigantamax and now Terastalization. And maybe Terastalizing a lot caused her a injury and now has to use that glove. WE ARE A DLC.

Nemona genuinely impressed me and (in my opinion) encapsulates the great characterisations in SV.

When she was first revealed I assumed she would be the boilerplate stock NPC who kinda ballwashes the player throughout the game whilst never putting up much of a challenge, ultimately petering out in the endgame to a rushed conclusion of their story arc.

However, she's not like this at all! It's pretty basic, but having characters with strong personalities and believable arcs with that pour themselves into their passion is something I really value in stories, and SV exemplifies this in its main and supporting cast, Nemona especially.

Nemona is probably the best neurodivergent character ive seen in a piece of media, she feels like she could be a real person, quite obviously her special interest is pokemon battles but since shes so good, people are scared to battle her and she feels as if she has to hold back so she can "enjoy" her interest which heavily reflects how neurodivergent people "mask" to fit in

She obviously has some pretty bad social issues which could be due to her being neurodivergent, plus, she also comes from a rich family and we dont really know anything about her family so there could be another layer there as well, but, that behaviour can be corrected with professional help

Nemona is such an important character to me as a neurodivergent person, I love her so much, im so happy she can finally express her interest properly post-game

I'm gonna say it, pokemon Scarlet and Violet are by far the best pokemon games, yes there are bugs and sometimes the game goes completely side ways. But the story, the designs, the pokemon, and even some of the models and animations are absolutely INCREDIBLE. You can tell that they put ALL the stocks into the story, graphically Arceus is the best Switch pokemon game, this game is much better in terms of Story and whatnot. I love this game, I love em so much.

Bro I've been saying this for the past 2 days that Nemona is a lonely character at the top. A lot of people miss out on this because they neglect going to the Academy. Yo my man Frank Hassel has an interesting story too. Hope to see her patents and big sister in the DLC to find out why she got into battling so hard. Crazy that she's #1 and still attends class with you and a normal student. Nemona, Arven and Penny are goats (the weeb in me wants to say nakama though)

Game freak did great with the rival stories in this one. They all feel realistic for people living in a pokemon setting. It's a shame more people didn't realize what was happening with Nemona. Hopefully your video helps spread the knowledge! Have a like
