Honestly, knowing this entry of phantumps being dead kids, the possibilities of that alone can create heart wrenching scenarios. Like, imagine you lose your son because he went missing in the forest only for him to be found dead months later. Not only that, right when you think he’s fully gone you see him again but as a phantump, and he fully remembers who he was before.

A lot of ghost Pokémon have the most scariest entry. Like
drifloon - “grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife. It dislikes heavy children.”
