Fasting is amazing I was 251lbs, 60yrs old, 5ft 6in August 10th...menopausal woman...I could not lose 1 pound eating 3x a day...in 1.5wks of and eating right, getting rid of all processed and artificial foods and sugars I have lost 5lbs🎉🎉🎉❤

I have been following your recommendations Dr. Mindy and they work very well with me. I fast 14 to 16 hours daily and 20-28 hours twice a month. On many days, I eat once a day. Not only I look great (people tell me), I also feel better, healthier, and stronger. I avoid processed foods and beverages as often as possible. The food industry is not going to like you and Dr. Lustig. lol.

I was stuck after loosing 40 lbs I didn’t loose anything for over a month. Then I stopped fasting for a few days. Added a few more natural carbs. Then started back with fasting. And the weight started coming off again. Now down 46.

She's on point .Fasting most important. My old pastor from 40 yr ago fasted one week every 3 months. I was not a good follower. I only started fasting after diagnosed with type 2 two years ago. I did multiple fat fasts and grapefruit fasts lost 20 kg and still going mainly rolling 36 hour and 48 hrs. Black coffee and butter main stays. Food eat low carb mainly but am enjoying sour doe rye bread with butter and avo plus meat. I am now fat adapted woppee.

Brilliant episode, I'm pretty new to fasting I've been doing it for 18 months, I vary my fasts, I never drop below 16hrs, when fasting. I do have days where I don't fast . I've lost 70 lb, my blood pressure when I started was 145/95, it's now 106/66 Brilliant, I'm still a big girl so that is Brilliant. Now classed has pre diabetic, not diabetic , hoping when I go for my check up I get the all clear, so if u are on the fence please just give it a month you won't regret it. I love listening to dr mindy, thankyou

she break down the information so easily and I am so glad I came across this lady and until then i never thought to check why so many people were doing intermittent fasting and of course nobodyy explained the science behind it but I am now obsessed with her videos .. Thanks for teaching us

I have been looking into all of this because my Mom has Mast Cell Histamine Intolerance. Not only do we have to pay attention to Gluten, Oxalates and Lectins...but high histamine foods.
Take home for me...every single person is different. It is a full time job to learn about your own body. However, very important to educate yourself and listen to everything and everyone.

Wow! I learned a lot! Thanks very much to both of you for the thoughtful questions, informative responses, and lots to consider and put into practice. The bit about lead poisoning and detox as seen through generations is helping to put together some unexplained puzzle pieces. I've just ordered Dr.Pelz's book and look forward to getting on board with fasting to address my (now 10 years!) hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause.
